(1) device generally positioned on high ground to transmit signals (such as TV)                  (2) point of interest found on moors, when any of three specific masts come into view the author is nearly home

Moorland :

(1) prefered habitat of author, lack of proximity induces symptoms of a condition known as hill-sickness (similar to homesickness with added claustrophobia from being at low level)     (2) the best part of the Pennines – an outstandingly beautiful part of england                     (3) a type of landscape the author and husband spend their time crisscrossing
